Meet "Blossom"
She is just the cutest little lamb you will ever see. I used 3 skeins of white knitting thread to make her body and tail. I used a little over half a skein of black knitting thread for her feet. Black and white felt for her face with button eyes and nose. Yep, I think she is right cute!
If you want to make your own little lamb the instructions and pattern for the face can be found here.
When you get there you will see the lamb came from a book called 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders: A world of possibilities inspired by just one skein.
Yes, the one in the book is made from one skein of yarn. Mine has 3!! So you can tell that Blossom is really a good useful door stopper! Make yours any size you wish... the "ball" of yarn is on your court. :)

Adorable lambchop! However I would have bet yours would have been a pig! Oh well, lambs are cute too!
I agree with Doris1 I thought for sure you would have had a pig! BUT I LOVE BLOSSOM! Sheep are one of my most favorite animals! Plus I love and adore yarn! So win win! I may just have to make one of these to go with Sir Samuel!
Thanks for sharing!

Blossom is just 2 sweet! Thank you for sharing.
Your little lamb is really cute!
We thought that other, other lady would have a chicken and you would have a pig. You both surprised us with super duper creativity. (Not that pigs and chickens aren't creative) Blossom is so cute and a" think outside the box" door stop. She will bring smiles for years to come.
Thanks for hopping and sharing such a cutie. I'm thinking about all the things that could be made with skeins of yarn.
So cute!
Blossom is adorable. I grew up on a farm where my brothers raised purebred Hampshire sheep for 4-H projects. So, I love sheep, too. Now, my SIL is a pastor. I'm always on the lookout for sheep projects with his love of sheep and her being a shepherd. I hope that is an "easy" project. I think it would be an adorable present for them. Either for their regular home or for the manse. I haven't heard an update in sometime and hope you are feeling much better and are able to quilt on your special quilt for your friend. Blessing to you my friend.
OMG, Blossom is so adorable. You truly did a neat job on her. Thank you for sharing her with us all.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe you rewrapped 3 skeins of knitting thread! When I saw the picture I was hoping there was only one layer of wrapping around a sphere, wow. My arm hurts in sympathy with yours. But Blossom is very cute, so worth it :)

I'm sure Blossom is the perfect addition to your home. I would absolutely love her. All except the extreme winding of the yarn. She is super cute!
