Surprises!!

Isn't  it just one of the happiest things to realize something that you thought was lost, is found!  That is the way I feel this morning!  I had quilted for a friend last year and thought I had not made photos of my work!  It was some really good work, or so I think it is... and I hated not getting photos!

Well, fast forward about a year and I am getting rid of old cameras.  I have bought 2 new cameras in the past month trying to get THE right one to make sharp and clear photos of the products I sell on my website, CrazyQuiltingSupplies.com.  I wanted to give one of my old cameras to my granddaughter Allie and another old one to her friend here in NC, Jordan.

Jordan's grandmother was here this week for a visit and I offered the camera to her so she could give it to her granddaughter when something told me to see if I had any photos left on it!

647 photos!!!!!

I could not believe my good fortune!!! There are photos I had forgot I had made!  Needless to say, I was topping the cotton all afternoon after that!

I quilted this for my friend Gerry and she sent it off to her son soon after so I thought photos of it were not going to be!  But now... Well, I am so happy that you get to take a peek...
I had fun with this one!

Thought I would post a comment here instead of on the HGTV message boards....thank you so much for the inspiration! Before you posted that I could visit this site for a close-up, I logged off! So glad I checked back in. I decided to try a much simpler version of what you did and came up with a circle that is centered with petals/flames - depending on whether it looks like a flower or a sun - coming off all around. I will have to do some more practicing before I start, but I think it will work. Your quilting is amazing! Thanks, Susan (stm1804 on the HGTV site)
