Surprises!!

Isn't  it just one of the happiest things to realize something that you thought was lost, is found!  That is the way I feel this morning!  I had quilted for a friend last year and thought I had not made photos of my work!  It was some really good work, or so I think it is... and I hated not getting photos!

Well, fast forward about a year and I am getting rid of old cameras.  I have bought 2 new cameras in the past month trying to get THE right one to make sharp and clear photos of the products I sell on my website, CrazyQuiltingSupplies.com.  I wanted to give one of my old cameras to my granddaughter Allie and another old one to her friend here in NC, Jordan.

Jordan's grandmother was here this week for a visit and I offered the camera to her so she could give it to her granddaughter when something told me to see if I had any photos left on it!

647 photos!!!!!

I could not believe my good fortune!!! There are photos I had forgot I had made!  Needless to say, I was topping the cotton all afternoon after that!

I quilted this for my friend Gerry and she sent it off to her son soon after so I thought photos of it were not going to be!  But now... Well, I am so happy that you get to take a peek...
I had fun with this one!

Quilting The Compass

I quilted this variation of a Compass Star for my friend Suzanne a couple of years ago.  I wanted to share the photos with you today.  I have been working on quilting an opportunity quilt for a guild the past few days and am incorporating the same techniques into it!

I just thought I would wet your appetite for those photos to follow on Wednesday!
