Birthday Gift!

Do you think she will like it?  Can't say who it goes to or what it is for but I wanted to show you that I did accomplish something the first week of the year!

I also accomplished another large job but I cannot talk about it for at least a week... Then I will show you that! :)

This is a candle mat for a friend with a matching candle. I used my Baby Lock machine to embroider the snowman and then used the snowball block pattern to create the candle mat.  I quilted the  decorative stitches on my Janome6260QC.

The (made in the USA!) soy candle is called Serendipity and is sold in my online shop Cover Your Little Piggies .  If you have not visited my quilting and gift shop, take a peek and see if anything strikes your fancy.  Lots of CQ goodies too!  It is still a work in progress and more merchandise will be added over the course of this year!  So, please keep checking back.  You never know what might just show up over there!

I think it turned out really cute!  Hope she likes it!
