My friend Nicki and I are doing a one on one crazy quilt block swap with each other. She came to NC in April to stay with me for a couple of days before the retreat that I held and I gave the block I made to her while she was here. I have to make a background block and send to her so she can embellish one for me.
She pieced her background and I did the embellishing. On first thought she wanted to make the piece into a purse when she got it back so she asked me not to stitch in the corners...
Then she decided she wanted to frame it so I filled in the corners for her. I forgot to take a photo with my camera of the completed block before she left with it so I asked her to do that for me. She also sent me some close up photos..Something else I forgot to do this time! I am getting very forgetful in my olden age. :)
